The Wonders Of Gods Grace Annie,OIC

The Wonders Of Gods Grace
Annie,OIC

In John 3:11 Jesus is talking to one of the religious leaders of His day. He says this to him, (11)verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and we testify that we have seen, and ye receive not our witness.
(12) If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of Heavenly things?

Jesus is saying what we should be able to say to those we speak to about Jesus. We should be able to testify that we have tried to reach out with the love of Christ. Can you boldly say to the religious leaders around you these words.. I speak that I DO KNOW, I testify that I have seen the Love of Christ in my life, but you have received not my witness, If I have told you of the earthly things we must do like feed the poor, clothe the naked, Take In the stranger, forgive as we have been forgiven, how then shall ye believe if I tell you of Heavenly things, like raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, lay hands on the sick, call the elders to anoint with oil.. Oh the wonders of Grace we have received of God the Father. He has given us so much Grace we do not even deserve. Jesus said if you love me you will keep my commandments. His commandments were to raise the dead, heal the sick and forgive one another. Most Churches today just say weak minded prayers like Father if it be thy will please heal mother. Rarely do I ever see anyone anointed with oil, or demons cast out. We as the body of Christ are not in active duty as we should be, and still the Grace he showers on us. We should be acting as the first church. God is not impressed with our fancy pews and expensive glass doors, He is impressed with our hearts and actions towards each other..

If you reject Him, He will answer you with tears, If you wound Him, He bleeds out cleansing. If you kill Him, He dies to redeem. If you bury Him, He rises again to bring you resurrection.

Let us as the hands and feet of Christ on the earth be about Gods business of feeding the poor, caring for the orphan and widow, giving drink to the thirsty, taking in the stranger not just giving our 5 or 10 dollar donation but actively doing so.

John 3:21 But He that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought to God.

I Want A Godly Marriage

Poem from: I Want A Godly Marriage.

Repost by Annie, OIC

I Refuse to Be Discouraged
I refuse to be discouraged,
To be sad, or to cry;
I refuse to be downhearted,
And here's the reason why . . .
I have a God who's mighty,
Who's sovereign and supreme;
I have a God who love me,
And I am on His team.
He is all wise and powerful,
Jesus is His name;
Though everything is changeable,
My God remains the same.
My God knows all that's happening,
Beginning to end.
His presence is my comfort,
He is my dearest friend.
I refuse to be defeated,
My eyes are on my God;
He has promised to be with me,
As through this life I trod.
I'm looking past all my circumstances,
To Heaven's throne above;
My prayers have reached the heart of God,
I'm resting in His love.
I give God thanks in everything,
My eyes are on his face;
The battle's His, the victory is mine;
He'll help me win the race.

FORGIVENESS ANNIE, OIC

FORGIVENESS
ANNIE,OIC

In him we have redemption through his shed blood also the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of his grace.

It is vitaly important that we forgive. Ourselves and others, It is important to God and to ourselves as it affects our health and our emotions as well as our attitude. The scripture says that in Jesus we have redemption, this means if we have it we must give it. Many of us in the body of Christ today have a hard time forgiving. We find it difficult to let go of past hurts and wrongs. What if God treated us the way we treat each other. We would be in danger wouldnt we. We chose from day to day what we are willing to forgive and what we want to hold on to. But, Gods' word tells us to forgive, he dosent give us an option on this. If God tells us something it is considered a commandment. I am not talking about the 10 commandments. No one could keep them, that is why Jesus came and died for us. I am talking about things Gods' word tells us we must do in the new testiment. Jesus told us in the new testiment that we are to love God with all our hearts minds soul and strength and love each other as ourselves. He also said if we did not forgive others the father would not forgive us, in fact he went as far to say our prayers would not even be heard. What if Jesus kept a list of wrongs on us based on how bad we hurt or grieved him. Does the thought of doing anything that would hurt the one who died in your place grieve you? It should. However, we do it every day. Every day that we chose to hold on to unforgiveness and bitterness and we keep record of wrongs we are hurting the one who gave his life for us. How, because he told us to love and forgive.I am so thankful that our God is so awsome that when we ask for forgiveness he forgives and remembers it no more. How I wish we could be more like him. Can we? I want to forgive and remember it no more. Today chose to forgive everyone who has wronged you. Wipe the board clean of all hurts and transgressions done to you. Say yes, I chose to forgive and give it to God. Lord heal me of all my hurts, take it from me I want to remember it no more. Even if you dont tell that person themselves, tell God. He knows anyway.

Through the shed blood of Jesus Christour sins are forgiven according to his riches and grace we have access to the power of his shed blood today to say I am chosing to forgive all hurts and wrongs done to me today in Jesus name, bless them and keep them through your grace and mercy in Jesus name. amen.

Lord Jesus, you give us all the grace we will need to forgive those that have hurt and wronged us and in your name we will for we love you and want to glorify you.

Amen. Be blessed and healed in Jesus name today.

I AM PERSUADED! Annie, OIC

I AM PERSUADED

by Annie, OIC

Romans 8:39
"For I am persuaded that neither life nor death, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things yet to come, nor heigth, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to seperate us from the love of God."

Are you persuaded? Have you come to the saving knowledge of this scripture? Are you still struggling in your faith? Are you still swayed by people, or circumstances? Are you persuaded that God loves you based on your goodness? Fill up on the meat that is in this verse. Say to yourself and your foes "Iam persuaded". No matter if I live or die today nothing can seperate me from the love of God. No angel or demon or their powers can seperate me from the love of God. Nothing that is present in my life today nor anything that is coming shall seperate me from the love of God. Neither the heigth nor depth of the circumstances in my life today will seperate me from the love of God. No other creature on earth nor under the earth can seperate me from the love of God. Say to your enemies or those against you today, " no matter what you may say, think, or feel about me today or ever will ever seperate me from the love of God!! God loves me, Jesus died for me, no matter what you, your friends, or your family think of me or whether you like it or agree with it or not, nothing can seperate me from the love of God!!! Nor will it ever be able to ever!! So say, think, and feel what you like about me, I am persuaded that nothing can seperate me from the love and acceptance of God!!!

I thank you Jesus that you love me and that nothing can seperate me from your love. In Jesus name. amen.

"Whatever You're Facing" Annie, OIC

"Whatever You're Facing"
Annie, OIC

Luke 22: 61-62 ( notes taken from The Confident Woman Devotional)

The Lord turned and looked straight at Peter. Then Peter remembered the word the Lord had spoken to him saying, "before the cock crows thrice this day you will deny me." Then Peter went out and wept bitterly.
Bitterly means with painful greif. Jesus told Peter that he would deny him. Peter denied that he would. When Peter was recoginized as a follower of Jesus he became fearful. He did not know how to respond as seeing his Lord in chains was more than he could bear. Even though the Lord warned him he did not listen. We are not so different today, we think we are. We judge the first church but are we any stronger or more confident in our trials I think not. They sold all they had and distributed it among each other. They lived together and prayed together. Do we. I think we could learn of them more than we have. Are we as the body of Christ listening to him today? Or are we like Peter and say, not me Lord, I would never. I think we should be very careful in the day and hour we are living in. We need to humble ourselves and say,"speak Lord, for thy servent is listening."When we see trails and tribulations all around us we too become fearful. Remember that God is not a man that he should lie. So listen today if he is warning you about something, say Lord what should I do about this?
Lord Jesus, In reading about Peters' denial I know I am not so different from him. I humble myself before you today and ask for wisdom and discernment, strength in times of fear. Help me to be still and listen to your still small voice. Help me not to be presumptuious and fearful of your Holy Spirit. Give me strength and courage, boldness to face whatevers coming in this day and hour we are living in. In Jesus name I pray amen.

How To Love The Unlovely Annie, OIC

How To Love The Unlovely
by Annie Simonds

Lord Jesus give me faith and virtue, add to my virtue, knowledge, add to my knowledge, self control, add to my self control, steadfastness, add to my steadfastness, Godliness, add to my Godliness, brotherly affection, add to my brotherlt affection, love, peace, and charity, "For if these things be in me and abound, they keep me from being ineffective for your kingdom, they keep me from being unfruitful, unfruitful in the knowledge of you our lord, Jesus Christ."

A PRAYER ANNIE, OIC

A PRAYER
ANNIE, OIC

Isaiah 45:12: God said, "I made the earth, and created man in it. It was my hands who stretched out the Heavens, and I commanded all their hosts!!" Psalm 139:13-16: (Prayer form) " For it was you (GOD) who created my innermost parts; you knit me together ( like a sweater) in my mothers womb!! I shall praise you for I have been fearfully and wonderfully made!! Your works are wonderfull and I know this full well.. My bones were not hidden from you when I was made in secreat, when I was formed in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw me, even when I was formless; all my days were written in your book and planned before a single one ever began!! Lord Jesus, Who indeed are we that you should be so mindful of us.. You are so wonderful. You are Great and Mighty.. you formed the Universe, the earth, you stretched out the Heavens and called all their hosts into place.. and then you knit us together as a loving mother knits for her newborn babe.. in the secreat place.. I bet that secreat place is in your heart...I shall praise you indeed my Lord; for I know now more than ever, just how fearfully and wonderfully You have made me!!! Thankyou Lord,, In Jesus name I praise you..
